Bonnavee

Life is Full of Choices
(Even for the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival this summer June 7-10, 2012.)
  • You can road trip or fly into Manchester, TN.
  • You can camp in a tent or stay at a local hotel.
OR...you can take the Bonnavee!
2012 Coachmen Freelander 32'
  • sleeps 8-10
  • shower, bathroom, refrigerator, and stereo
  • kitchen, dinette, sofa, queen bed, 2 bunks, and overhead double bulk bed
Enough from me, why don't you watch a video about a similar 2011 model and let Aaron explain all the features. (Yeah, we are not renting from Aaron!!)

If that wasn't enough here is another video. We are renting the Bonnavee from American Dream Vacations in Irving, TX. The details are as follows:
  • Pick up on Tuesday June 5th and drop off June 12th
  • I put down the $500 refundable damage deposit and purchased full coverage insurance
  • Costs $1767.15 for 1 week rental + $720 in fuel + $191 RV pass + $100 water fill and dump = $2778.15 estimated total
  • I have taken reservations for 8 spots (Roberto, Tiffany, Matt, Maria, Davy, Theresa, Gina, and Neil) with $50 deposit from each person. The total will be $347.26 each unless we really want to cram 2 more people into the Bonnavee. This could drop it down to $277.81.
We need to start a shopping list: Hot dogs, beer, gallons of vodka, cracker packs, etc and we can purchase it all at Costco. Pleas post comments with shopping lists or recipes that we should try for the Bonnavee dining experience.

Oh, I almost forgot to add the floor plan,
That's it for now.

  2. Questions:
    - How big is the fridge (is it a dinky one, or almost a full size one?)
    - Does it come with pots / pans / utensils / cups etc? Or are those bring your own?
    - How big is the freezer (I'm thinking for ice)?
    - Does the thing come with bedding (or do we need to bring our own pillows / blankets / sleeping bags?)

For Food: Based on the following assumptions (does not come with pots/pans) and you have an almost full size fridge)

I would propose the following menu / co-shopping items:

You guys are the Bonnaexperts....what do you think?

I'm a bit of a planner - cuz it sucks to be without you know -and if we are rolling in Bonnavee style, might as well make the most of it!

  3. The nice man in the first video suggested that I bring all of my shoes...

But really, if we just fill that space with bacon, coffee and booze I'm set.

The list above looks good, my only concern would be vinegar would be smelly in such a small place, maybe we could exchange that out with a package of wet kitchen wipes?

Looking forward to this summer guys!
